Download Removex from the Apple App Store

Firstly you need to download the app, as you would for any other app. You can tap this link or search “Removex” on the store.

Allow Access to Photos

The app needs to access your photos to find and edit them. We would recommend allowing access to all so you don’t select a photo the app cannot edit.

Select a photo

Choose the photo from your iPhone Photos where you want to delete someone (or even multiple people).

Choose the person to remove

Once you’ve select a photo, the AI will find all the people in there, and you can choose who to remove! It can be more than one person.

Watch the magic happen

After a short loading time, the person will have disappeared, if you allow changes the edit automatically shows in Apple Photos! And you can undo the changes either in the app or in the Photos app too, impressive! The results are pretty amazing.

About Crickle

Crickle is a fun word game on the Google Play Store, Apple App Store and Amazon App Store. It’s a game of connecting words and making as many high point words as possible to maximise your score.

How to play Crickle

Create words with your selection of letters one at a time. You get points for using the letters and some letters are worth more than others. In Crickle each word must be connected to the next one with at least one letter in the same position. These connections are called “boats”. If you can’t connect any of your letters you can use an orange tile called a “float”, the letter will then be copied down but you won’t get any points for the letter in the float. Keep playing until you have an awesome score!

I’m a maths intervention coordinator who teaches all abilities of secondary school students, aged 11-18.

A group of Year 8 students were complaining that maths was “dull” and “boring”. Having spent a few weeks playing NumberDrop myself, I thought that introducing the app to the children might challenge them in a new way. I opened the app and showed them the tutorial. Once they were familiar with the rules, we started attempting the harder questions with mini-whiteboards, so numbers could be erased and moved around without much hassle.

The students enjoyed how the levels got harder and harder. The more difficult a question, the greater the triumph felt by the student when he or she answered it correctly.

The students have benefited from NumberDrop a variety of ways. Firstly, it improves their knowledge of the basic functions, and helps them with times tables, division and sums. Secondly, the puzzling nature of the app allowed the students to work and think logically, and finishing a difficult puzzle meant using problem-solving skills they might not necessarily have used with standard maths questions. Using NumberDrop levels as a team task, or an individual race to the answer, has shown team-building skills and improved confidence and all-around maths knowledge.

Some students have quite enjoyed NumberDrop and I have seen examples of the children taking their maths work more seriously, so as to be able to compete more competently when they next play NumberDrop.
